 What is TIM

A collection of research journals that are categorized into three different categories – A, B and C -- within their respective knowledge areas on the basis of a number of internationally benchmarked and recognized parameters that measure the quality of a journal.

 TIM Categories

TIM categorizes a research journal into three categories – A, B and C-- where A is the highest recognized category followed by B and C within each subject area and its associated sub-categories.
  • Category A: The journal has one or more than of value of international measure such as impact factor, eigenfacor, SNIP, etc
  • Category B: The journal has one or more than citations from the journals indexed in Tehqeeqat
  • Category C: The journal has no values from international measure and citation
