Abstract
Kazim khan shaida and muhammadi sahib zada are among the Prominent poets of
pashtoon.Kazim khan Shaida was born in akori on 1135 Hijri.Kazim Khan Shaida was the
son of Afzal Khan,who was himself a very prestigious Pashtoon author and historian.
Muhammadi Sahib Zada was born in Peshawar on 1109 Hijri .He was the son Mian
Muhammad Umar of Sokano Peshawar, who was a very religious figure as well as a saintly
personality. Both Kazim Khan Shaida and Muhammadi Sahib Zada were poets of stature
and had a mastered command of Pashto language in the tradition of the classical Pashto
poetry. Lively and masterly use of poetical devices and figures of speech like simile and
metaphor etc are the salient feature of their style and diction. We will have a comparative
look at their poetry.
