Abstract
In this paper, we prove that the Gardner equation with
the small parameter is approximately nonlinear self-adjoint. This
property is important for constructing approximate conservation
laws associated with approximate symmetries. We utilize firstorder approximate symmetries for constructing approximate conservation laws.
