This research article is about rural picture in the
romantic tale of "Heer Ranjha" written by Damodar.
"Heer" is a famous romantic tale of the Punjab. It has
been written by many writers but Damodar Das
Damodar is a poet who created it first of all. It is a
story which was happened in the period of King
Akbar. When we read the tale of "Heer Ranjha"
written by Damodar. we realize that Damodar was a
poet who experienced this story with his own eyes.
Some writers disagree with the claim of Damodar but
a great number agreed with his views. In this research
