Abstract
Hazrat Shah Jalal-Ud-Din Awaisi Multani, is a patron saint. He
(d.697AH/1310 CE) is a Sufi of 7th century hijri and well known with
his title Khagga Pir and Khawaja Awais Khagga. Khawaja Awais
Khagga Multani is a spiritual teacher. He is a direct desendant of
Imam Jaffer Tayyar Bin Abi Talib and a real brother of Hazrat Ali al
Murtaza. He was a disciple of Shaikh Muhammad Iraqi, a patron saint
of Awaisi chain of Sufis. Khawaja Awaisi Khagga’s tomb is situated in
Multan which is built by Ghiyas ud-Din Tughlak. The tomb was built
between 1320 -1330 CE in the pre-Mughal architectural style.
