Abstract
Whenever Auliya Allah goes to an area and preaches for the sake of Allah, many truth seekers are gathered around them, called Saliq. A special place is set up for the spiritual training of these seekers, this training is the based on guidance and teachings of Islam, so that they will have more opportunities to stay in the company of mentors and receive the spiritual training of their Sheikh Tariqat. This particular place is named as a "khanqah" in Sufism. Just as a madrassa is required for education and a mosque for practice, so is the Khanqah necessary for spiritual training. In every case, with the help of these khanqah, human beings are served with spiritual training and those who in need are helped morally and financially. And the purpose of establishing khanqah has never been commercial or trading, the difference between the khanqah and the dargahs is that the dargahs can run with the helpers, but blessing and learning in the khanqah continue with the existence of the sheikh only. The sheikh's effectiveness and impact is not only religious and spiritual, but also moral, psychological and social. That refers both the khanqah and the sheikh are mandatory with each other.
