Abstract
Twenty-first century's modern Urdu poem depicts strong feminist consciousness and elaborates variety of topics and themes related to issues faced by women in this region. These poems deliver an impression of negation and condemnation against all those social and ethical codes of discriminative behaviour which try to seize women rights and freedom. This modern feminist trend in 21st century's Urdu poem, expresses high magnitude on the both ends of behaviors, on the one side it mourns on deprivation of women's basic rights and on the other, shows strong rebellious behavior against this gender discrimination.
