Abstract
This 12 years boy from rural area of D.I.Khan, KP, Pakistan was diagnosed as ‘Congenital bilateral glaucoma’ at the age of 9 months. Bilateral trabeculectomies were performed at the age of one year. Since then regular follow-up shows that the vision in both eyes of the boy is 6/6 and his IOP is well maintained without medicines. Conclusion: Bigger eyes in young children are not always a blessing. Timely surgical treatment is the best solution. Communities especially parents need awareness to seek medical advice as early as possible in case the child is having watering, glare or abnormally large eye size.
