Abstract
Molana Muhammad Shibli Nomani (4 June 1857…. 18 November
1914) and Molana Zafar Ali Khan (January 1873…. 27 November 1956) are
great literary figures of Muslim sub continent. This article deals with their
relations and unfolds the facts that Zafar Ali Khan was a student of Molana
Shibli Nomani, who attended his lectures at Ali Garh in B.A classes. He
composed poetry in the praise of his teacher and translated his works in
English, both prose and poetic. During their stay in Hyderabad Deccan state
they enjoyed company of each other as well.
