The study examines the effect of five traits of personality on
organizational effectiveness. The research also scrutinizes the
moderating role of electronic medical records between
personality traits and organizational effectiveness. Simple
random and stratified sampling strategies were used in the
study. In the survey, 503 respondents (doctors) were taken as
sample size. Statistical tests like cronbach alpha, correlation,
descriptive statistics, regression and moderated regression
analyses were employed for investigations. The results of the
investigation showed that the personality traits (agreeableness,
conscientiousness and openness to experience) had positive
impact on organizational effectiveness, while the personality
trait (neuroticism) had negative influence on organizational
effectiveness. The outcomes also supported the impact of
moderating role of electronic medical records on the relationship
of personality traits (excluding conscientiousness) and
organizational effectiveness. The current research is a valuable
addition in the existing literature on organizational
effectiveness. Duplication of this study in other fields is advised
