The (Miserable) Condition of Laborers in Pakistan and its Solution with Respect to Philosophy of Islamic Economics

The most difficult and hard-working class in our society is employees and
workers, who play a pivotal role for the development and progress of any
industry, organization and institution through their non-stop struggle with zeal
and passion.
Islam gives a respectful status to employees and laborers in the society.
Hazrat Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم declared hard worker as a friend of Allah Almighty and
asked to pay their wages before they being released. Islam has given the
respect and status to the workers and the laborer which is not given by any
other ideology in the world. Unfortunately, the concept of Islam which can be
a peaceful and progressive catalyst for the humanity of the entire world has
been put aside and workers are being treated worse than animals. As a result,
an alarming distance amongst rich and poor sections of community is
increasing with the passage of time which may cause anxiety over whole
World. Pakistan is also included in the list of those countries where workers
are facing numerous problems. Now, it is necessary to highlight the main
issues of workers and solution should be explored according to the
philosophy of Islamic economy. This research highlights the main issues of
workers in Pakistan and solutions have been proposed according to
philosophy of Islamic economy.
This article got the conclusion that laborer in Pakistan is suffering from
various problems and the Islamic philosophy of economics is an ensemble that
can offer the best solution. Pakistan is a developing and industrial country and
due to the Islamic Republic, the importance of the employees and workers
goes on. Government authorities who make the policies are obliged to consult
with experts of Islamic economist. In the light of their suggestions, they should
make the policies which could improve the condition of others.
