The Holy Quran is based on the greatest and noblest literature. The arrangement, collection, narration and science of recitation of holy Quran is the basic kinds of Quranic literature. Much has been written about these topics. ``kitab -ul-masahif``by Ibne Abi Dawood is one of important books written in this era. This book is written according method of Muhaddseen and discusses about the narrations and collections of Quran from the followers of the Holy Prophet. It also talks about the pattern of compilers. Based on correct and fruitful knowledge. Although some unauthentic narrations are also presented in this book. That is the reason of preference to this book by some verifiers or orientalists. This article is a well step to give a complete introduction of this important source of knowledge.
