The research aim is to study the factors that contribute in
switching behaviour of professionals and students while
purchasing cell phone. The research explores different
reasons, why the consumer switches their cell phones from
the existing ones the analysis of the research clearly shows
that, mainly the factor which is involved for the customers
to change their cell phones was ‘technology’. The research
also has some limitations. Firstly, the factors that have
been chosen for the research work were limited. The
Practical implications of this research work can be made in
cell phone manufacturing companies as well as in the
electronic and technological industries.
