ئ A REVIEW OF SHAIKH AYAZ’S HAIKU: Abstract: Sindhi literature has the expand ground to submit the different genres in Sindhi style and culture. Sindhi original genre of poetry is “Waee” (وائي (rest of genres of poetry are adapted from different languages. “Haiku” is one of them; originally the genre is from Japan. It starts in 14th century. Now it’s a popular poetry of Japan. Haiku is a very short poem with a traditional and classics form. It is intended to express and to evoke emotion. The term haiku is derived from the first element of the word haikai (a humorous form of renga). In Sindhi literature haiku was introduces by Narayan Shyam and Dr. Tanweer Abbasi after that Shaikh Ayaz wrote the poetry Haiku. Shaikh Ayaz preferred to write Haiku in original form from Japan. Sheikh Ayaz brought the various changes in haiku. He reflects the Sindhi culture, society, nationalism and natural views of Sindhi Society and also he mentions the romantic tales of Sindh in haiku as the traditional attitude. Now it’s a popular genre in different names of Haiku, as Tadoo and Ti Sito in different names of Haiku, as Tadoo, (ٹيڑو (and Ti Sito (ٹستو (in Sindhi literature.
