AND LITERARY HISTORY
Abstract
Literature is a word which used to tell about written or spoken
material. Literature is a huge subject which relates directly with the beauty
of universe and opinions or feelings of people. The literature has been
described as a reproduction of the life which implies that the literature is
a written record of human being’s happiness, suffering, passion, hatred,
cruelty and to mentation etc or it is said that the literature is a true picture
of the society. While the history is the record of the past and the history
of literature is the historical development or record of writings in prose
or poetry which attempts to provide entertainment, enlightenment to the
reader as well as the development of the literary techniques used in the
communication of these pieces. In this paper, I have discussed literature,
history, literary history and the difference between history and the
literary history.
