The core objective of this paper is to understand the Islamic ethics of disagreement and its value for contemporary Pakistani society. This study will enhance the knowledge of the theoretical understanding of the ethics of disagreement. Difference of opinion is the beauty of Islamic history. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions made their difference of opinions when they discussed any issue. This tradition was promoted in the early Islamic centuries. But now a days the difference of opinion has become a source of dispute and a cause of sectarianism. This article aims to suggest some valid solutions to minimize the contradictions in
our society. If Islamic ethics of difference are followed, unity and peace will flourish in the
community.
