Sustainable economic growth is a very crucial issue of less developed
countries like Pakistan that are coping with higher levels of external
debt due to escalating fiscal and current account deficits. External debt
accumulation has become a global and wide-ranging fact. The present
study addresses the question that whether external debt is a boon or
curse? The findings of the study suggest that external debt is a curse
for Pakistan.
