Mukhtar Siddiqui is an eminent poet of Halqa-e-Arbab-e-zouq. Sufisim, history, culture and classical music are the areas of his interest. He has various colours and shades in his poetry which he get from history. History and historical places take him in the past and he can feel and depict not only about the life of people in that time but also their feelings and their thoughts. He is very keen to know about the mistakes that caused the fall of glorious nations. In this article, historical perspective of his poems has been discussed.
