In 2007, during the Survey for the plant parasitic nematodes in the Punjab Province, three new hosts (Alternate) of root knot nematode were recorded. Galling on the roots of Creeping Weed ‘Khatti Booti’(Oxalis corniculata Sorrel), Fleabane ‘Lucern Booti’ (Conyza ambigua DC) and Wild Tobacco ‘Geedar Tumbacco’(Nicotiana plumbaginifolia Viv.) was found due to infestation of root knot nematdes. Mature females were obtained from the infested roots. The perineal pattern of mature females was similar to the report of Taylor and Sasser (1978) about M. javanica (Treub, 1885) Chitwood, 1949, having a low dorsal arch and distinct lateral incisures. These weeds hosts are new records of M. javanica not reported earlier in Pakistan (Zarina and Maqbool, 1991; Maqbool and Shahina, 2001; Khanzada and Khan, 2003; Zarina, 2004; Khan et al., 2005).
