Rajendar Singh Bedi is most renowned short story writer in Urdu. Though quantity of his stories is less than many of other Urdu short story writers but the worth of his work is greater than all others. "Lajwanti" is most famous and highly appreciated short story of Rajendar Singh Bedi. Many of Urdu critics has discussed or analyzed it. In this article some new aspects of this short story are brought in to the light which was unseen before.
