Simple correlation coefficients were worked out among flag leaf area, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, number of grains per spike and grain yield per plant. Significant and positive correlation coefficient was obtained for relation-ship between grain yield and spike length.Number of spikelets per spike and number of grains per spike also showed positive and highly significant association with spike length while number of grains per spike exhibited the positive correlation with grain yield.
