Plato was the pioneer to introduce us with the world of ideas in literature. According to him there is another world parallel to this world containing the ideas of things. Those ideas are original and real. This world is just a replica of that. Hindi metaphysics also claims that this world is only an illusion. Ibni Arabi, the most prominent personality of Islamic metaphysics declared this world as a dream and stated that its reality is something else. Shah Wali Ullah also affirmed this world and its things as unreal and relative. He argued using Ahadith that all the things will appear in their real form in Dooms Day. According to poetic need this concept is very charismatic. Urdu ghazal grasps this topic very nicely.
