Islamic judicial system is one, if implemented, in a society promotes social justice. Its fundamental rules are fair and fulfills the standard of truth, where every person gets his/her due right without any atrocity. Islam has based its judicial system on the foundations of justice and unbiasedness to solve animosities and conflicts among mankind. One of the important components of the judicial system is the Judge or "Qazi" who serves as the backbone of the system and ensures its stability. That's why Islam has outlined very strict criteria for a Judge so that only a competent person takes on this responsibility. The criteria not only requires one to be adult, knowledgeable, pious and have sound mind but also in addition to these he remains unbiased throughout the case proceedings be the case between rich and poor, ruler and subject or resourceful or beggars. He should never give preference to anyone in the court room and treat everyone equally even his smiles and looks should be divided fairly among parties. While making a decision he never allows his self-interest to drive his decisions so that everyone gets his right justly
