ABSTRACT:
Ghulam Abbas is one of the major fiction writers of Urdu who is
known for his characters and themes mainly focusing
extraordinary aspects and angles of daily life. Since his
characters mostly come from deprived and neglected class of
the society, so they behave with an attitude of 'compromise' in
their life. Willingly or unwilingly, they have to adjust with the
situation. The artide presents an analysis of "Hammam Main"
Abbas's famous short story, in this context.
