The Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (JHSS), a refereed and internationally indexed journal is recognised by the HEC in the ‘Y’ category. The Journal is published biannually by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, University of Peshawar, with the approval of the competent authority The Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences aims to advance theoretical and applied research in social sciences and humanities. The journal represents a multi-disciplinary effort to integrate various disciplines into a coherent body of knowledge. The journal seeks to provide a forum for interdisciplinary approaches and research traditions. It espouses a national and international perspective that gives voice to inter-disciplinary research and scholars in Pakistan and in all regions of the world.
