Councils of Mufakhrat, Mawashhat and Azjal And its impact on Andalusion Arabic Literature
Abstract
sian Arabic literature
The literary councils have played a vital role in the history
of Arabs, for example Sooq Okaz, Sooq Mirbad and Sooq
Zilmajannah. When the Arabs ruled over Spain, they got more
influence regarding poetry because the environment of Spain was
so pleasant. Nature has gifted Spain with beautiful plains, valleys,
rivers, mountains, forests, trees, flowers, orchards and parks. It is
loaded with noble beauty and sights that always fill one with
emotions and feelings. Arabic literature has a great influence on
the Andalusian poetry. Al Hakam bin Al Rabzi, Ibne Shoheed,
Saeed bin Joodi and Abdul bin Malak bin Huzail in the period of Al
Mansor bin Aamir worked on “fakhar” and got much fame. The
Andalusian poets like Esa al Aldani, Abu al Qazaz, Ibne Zohr and Madghlees have worked greatly on
“mawashhat and al zajl”. Different kinds of poetry at their councils
regarding “fakhar, mawashaat and al zajl” are discussed herein as
we have made it clear in our talk.
