Glimpses of the contemporary Russian Culture Ideality in Short Stories of Talistae
Abstract
Literature reflects life. Every writer is affected directly or
indirectly by his/her culture, surroundings, contemporary
traditions and social norms which reflect in his/her creative
writings. Storytelling and story writing remained an art from
the pre-historic era and with the passage of time the interest of
human beings in story has not vanished rather it has augmented
and has taken different shapes and forms. Story is the innate
need and interest of mankind and they love to hear stories since
their early days. Short story is a form of literature which
appeals to this very aesthetic sense. With the gradual
development of literature, the art of the story writing got much
refined and it is no more an art of narration rather it has
adopted a full fledge form of practice in art and literature. The
modern story writers develop thematic writings for wellbeing
of the society.
