Letters of Jalil Ahmed Kidwai to Dr. Mukhtaruddin Ahmed
Abstract
Jalil Ahmed Qidwai is a prominent figure of Urdu literature.
Belonging to Sir Syed's School, he had a wide range of
relations with different literary personalities. Dr. Mukharuddin
Ahmed was one of them. In this article, Jalil Ahmed Qidwai's
letters have been presented that had been written to Dr.
Mukhtaruddin Ahmed. These letters highlight the literary,
academic and personal life of Jalil. They also reflect the
tradition of literary writings in the sub-continent.
