Abstract
The Qurān, followed by aḥadīṡ are the primary sources and records of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life. To this day, sīrat writing continues and more work is being done with greater attention to authenticity, in various languages, in order to make such literature accessible to all cultures. A number of such books have been written in Urdu as well as other languages of the subcontinent. This article traces sīrat writing in the khānqāhi (related to mystics and culture of shrines) literature of Sindẖ.
