Abstract
Sindhi is an ancient, extensive and rich language which
has remained source of communication since last several thousand years. It has original roots in the ruins of Mohan - Jo – daro. According to G. R. Hunter, all languages have same roots and
they are coming out of the same stuff including Script of writing.
After the attack of Aryans, Sindhi was in practice here and
it was used for the purpose of poetry, office, Industry, trade, religion, and education. In this era, Sindhi words were used in
“Chachnama”. In the Arab period, the Holy Quran was translated in Sindhi and in Soomra`s era, Sindhi Poetry emerged with
local forms like Gheech, Ghahh, Ginan etc which were in use
with new words.
