The utilization of Proverbs in Sindhi Literature

Abstract
Language is like a tree, which speaks in silence about its structures and foundation. For detailed study, the branch of ‘Botany’ speaks in volumes. Similar studies are available in various disciplines of pure science as well as social sciences and the languages. Language is the prime source, through, beauty and grandeur of Earth and skies can be converted into reading and writing; into poetry and prose… and such other mediums. Beautification of Language relies on various tools of it; Proverbs, Idioms, Sayings and such thoughts through quotable quotes are said of embellish a particular Language. Poetry as well as prose is thus made rich, dignified, beautiful and verbose. In the paper, the meaning and purpose of such terms have been explained. Special attention has been paid on some quotations from Arabic quotations through Holy Quran and after that, from English and then from writings of Dr. Atta Muhammad ‘Hami’, his poetry as well as his dissertation. It has been mentioned that, such Proverbs, Idiomatic phrases and sayings, beautifies the poetry and prose and thus add laurels and magnanimity to the language. Some quotations have also been taken from some popular writers of poetry and prose whose writings are viewed and found adorned and embellished .
