There is visible feminist element in urdu literature. In this article, has been explored the debates of feminism in early urdu fiction of female writers and then some well known urdu poets like Fehmida Riaz and Sara Shugafta etc. This article shows that feminist literary approach is very much present in urdu literature with reference to social status of women in eastren society.
