Abstract
Sultana Mehr is a great biographical memoirist(Tazkara Nigaar) of the presant era.She is a poetess,short story writter,novelist and a journalist,but consciously she has preferred to be called a memoirs writer(Tazkara Nigaar) .And in the field of biographical memoirs (Tazkara Nigaari )her work is of such a standared that she can obviously be rated as an important memoirist. As a whole in her eight books,she has written an introduction of 722 literary personals.These eight books comprise 8364 pages.In these books she mentioned creative personalities,male and female of Indo- Pak and forign countries.In this way Sultana Maher has collected,from the whole world,the important names and works of contemporary literary world. An Imortant aspect of her work is that she has done her work in the united states,where no helper was available to her and also the milieu was not knowledge friendly and nourishing for literature. Asad Mustafa,in his article,has taken in a comprehensive way,a scholarly review of Sultana Mehr's biographical memoirs and he has declared her work unique and important. According to Asad Mustafa,her work will be of immense importance in the field of research on creative personalities residing in forign countries.
