Thematic Study of Stories of Shoukat Hussain Shoro
Abstract
houkat Hussain Shoro is a prominent prose writer who has
written short stories, dramas articles and columns. His short stories are
remarkable for realism and progressivism. Another important aspect of
his short stories is the mingling of urban and rural life. The themes of his
short stories are derived from real, life-like situations. He highlights the
shortcomings, deprivations, backwardness, inequality and difficulties of
common man in a realistic manner. His short stories convey meaningful
messages of humanism, Justice and brotherhood. He uses modern
techniques in his stories to deliver his themes to the reader. In this
research article, an effort has been made to analyze the themes of his
short stories with suitable examples form the text.
