Abstract
This paper covered the personal similarities of Baba Farid Ganj-eShukr and Khawja Ghulam Farid. The purpose of this research is to
find out major things which are similar to them and their
consequences into the society. The method used for the research is
descriptive and qualitative. The review of literature revealed that the
environment was almost same from where they got education and
transferred it in same way. The study also found that the identities of
these great personalities are different, but at some extent, there are
similarities as we disclosed many similarities between them, such as
similarity of names, genealogy, spiritual chain, the affiliation, the
passion for tourism, the devotion of the heads of state to them, the
masters of external and internal sciences and arts, and poetry in
many languages, as well as the themes of their poetry are very
similar. The genealogy of both of them also reaches the 2nd caliph,
Umar Farooq. Both of them were also fond of travel and tourism.
