اسلام اور مسئلہ قومیت، بعض پہلوؤں سے جائزہ
Abstract
Islam is a global religion of nations that expresses its universal message to all human kind. It condemns the division of mankind on the basis of race and colour. It is a religion with total guidance on the premises of human nature. It is not against mutual recognition of people having a common past, cultural or religious heritage therefore when we study nationalism in the light of Islam, we arrive at a conclusion that Islam, however, is opposed to all the attitudes that lead to pride, oppression of rights and jingoism on the basis of nationalism. But the concept of feeling oneness, unity and common ground which abide by the rules of ethics and involves affection towards a nation or country are not forbidden rather commendable in Islam.
