Socio-Economic Aspects of Education & Training in the Prophet’s Battles

Abstract
War is undoubtedly the most vicious act of all human actions. Sometimes on the battlefield, man becomes immoral and wears the robe of savagery. The Prophet (peace be upon him) permitted to carry a sword as a sacred obligation. However, he forbade all barbaric actions and guided corrective teachings such as justice and compassion. He instructed the forces not to take the initiative in attacking, don't attack the weak, women, children and slaves in battle (who did not take part in the war), don't cut down trees without reason and likewise. This article highlights the socio۔economic aspects of the Prophet's conquests elaborating how the Prophet (peace be upon him) exhibited respect for humanity in the battlefield. The methodology used in the research is analytical and historical in nature. The study concludes that battles fought during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace be upon him) were not only successful in their mission but also provide various learning lessons for Muslims.
