Member British Mycological Society, UK, American Phytopathological Society, USA and Pakistan Botanical Society, Pakistan. Published over 50 original research papers in international journals of UK, USA, Netherland, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. Presented research findings in International Scientific Conferences, Symposia and Seminars held in Cambridge, Scotland, Oxford, Wageningen, Dhaka, Kampala, Banglore, Hanover, Delhi, Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi. Principal Investigator of eight National Research Projects of Pakistan. Supervised nine research students leading to the award of M.Sc. (by thesis), M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree. Interested in Agriculture, Microbiology and Mycorrhizal Biotechnology for increasing nutrients particularly “P” uptake, and resistance to root diseases of crop plants. Have written over 250 popular scientific articles and letters in the most leading English daily newspaper “DAWN” of Pakistan. Appointed as an Eminent Professor of Pakistan by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (2006- 2007). Worked as Adjunct Professor of Agriculture and Agribusiness Department in the University of Karachi and supervised students of M.Phil. / Ph.D. program.
