Five species of the genus Psalmocharias Kirkaldy belonging to the subfamily Cicadinae (Cicadidae) have been cladistically analyzed
and a cladogram has been constructed and discussed in the light of apomorphies found in the included species of the genus
Psalmocharias Kirkaldy.
