Abstract
Effects of chromium and lead chloride on germination, accumulation and stress phenolics were studied. Lead chloride significantly reduced the germination, increased accumulation and total phenols in two tested species (Gossypium hirsutum and S. melongena). Maximum inhibition was recorded in plants when treated with 150pprn lead as compared to chromium treated sample and control.
