Ahmad Nadeem Qasmi contributed some unforgettable short stories to Urdu literature. There appear some situations reflecting relations of man and woman and we meet some of important female characters in his stories too. Our recent criticism while studying these characters in feminist context does not give importance to localized situation. This article tries to study Qasmi female characters in local context.
