Abstract
Contemporary Punjabi poets have made different issues of their society the topics of punjabi poetry. It is not just a matter of love and affection but many political, economic, moral and psychological problems are also described in Punjabi poetry that is why its canvas has become more vast which has given the diversity to our asset. This positive change is a step towards the betterment of their society by sensitive and creative community. This article describes the social aspect of Punjabi Poetry.
