Abstract
In Tughluq regime (1320-1414) of Sub-Continent, rulers paid much attention towards education and encouraged Scholars for the purpose. Therefore a lot of work was produced on religion and history. Thus we claim that besides welfare work by Tughluq rulers, there was promotion of education as well. Critical analysis of religious and historical work has been made n this article of period in Feroz Shah Tughluq regime (1351-1388). Feroz Shah was a prolific writer and knowledge explorer person. His famous book Fatoohat-e-Feroz Shahi is considered his one of the most distinctive compilation. Famous scholars and historians got attached with his kingdom in his regime. There was a translation department with a huge library in which translation of other books in different languages was done. The books which have been written on Tafseer, Ahadith, Fiqh and History have been most important in the under study ruling period. In this article the evolution of religious and historical studies has been analyzed in his regime.
