Abstract
“Istaghasa” is an Arabic word that means to ask for help. This is the main topic of “Naat”. The Holy prophet(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is the most Merciful. Your mercy has been continued even after going through the World. There for Muslims ask for help from you. Muslim poets ask you for help in expressing their concerns in verses of “Naat”. First of it’s started in Arabic “Naat” and then came in to Persian “Naat”. From Persian it has been come in to Urdu “Naat”. The main aim of this study is to take short review of Arabic and Persian “Naat” and in light of this short review analyze the “Urdu Naat Mein Istaghasa”.
