Since the start, the media is known to have the power to influence public opinion
and encourage social change (Boban and Vrbat 2016) and there are many
examples of media misuse and how they can manipulate language of a news item
so as to whatever is reported to consumers of news clearly reflect the mindsets and
attitudes of the newspapers.
