Abstract
Nine onion (Allium cepa L) genotypes were examined to obtain the early onion bulb production through sets. The genotypes did not differ significantly for number of green leaves, whereas significant differences were observed among the genotypes for sets diameter, leaf length, neck diameter, bulb diameter, fresh weight per bulb and bulb yield hal. The Hybrid Yellow Granex showed superiority and more adaptability over all other genotypes under Faisalabad conditions Key words: Allium cepa, bulb, sets, genotypes
