A field experiment was conducted during summer seasons of 1996 and 1997 to study the response of two sesame genotypes to variable rates of nitrogen and phosphorus. Application at increased rate of N (120 kg) and P (40 kg) increased significantly the seed and stalk yield ha" as well as protein and concentration of oil. This response was higher with cv.
