Abstract
Total and differential leukocytic counts were studied in 56 clinically healthy one-humped camels (Came/lis dromedarius) in summer. Twenty-eight of these were males aged 4, 5 to 6, 6 to 7, and more than 7 years. The remaining 28 comprised heifers, not-pregnant dry, pregnant-dry, and not-pregnant lactating camels. Each of these groups thus contained seven animals. Irrespective of sex and age, these camels gave the following overall averages ± standard error:
