Abstract
Three mungbean varieties were exposed to ultraviolet radiations and their MJ generations were subjected to three different selection procedures, viz, single plant selection, line selection and bulk method of selection. The varieties differed significantly for various plant trails. The three selection methods were found to have signilicant differences among themselves. Single plant selection was relatively more effective procedure for the improvement of plant height, pods plant", loo-grain weight and grain yield.
