Mortality bioassays were used to investigate the toxicity of Bacillus thuringiensis strains against cotton aphids, Aphis gossypii. These strains were isolated from samples collected from different localities of Pakistan. Of the total isolates screened, nine strains showed activity against cotton aphids. Two isolates viz., Fic 16.15 and Ins 2.13 gave the lowest LC50 values.
